New Friday Skate Class Location in Amstelveen

More skaters, more fun — and now more space!

Our Friday skate classes in Amstelveen have grown significantly, and we are very happy to see so many children enjoying skating with us. With this growth, however, we have noticed that having skaters of very different levels on the same field can sometimes be challenging.

Last Friday, we tested a solution by putting down the curtains in the Bankrashal to separate the total beginners from the recreational skaters. This worked well, but it also meant that there was less skating space available for everyone.

A new solution: Pandora Hall 7

Starting this week, we have rented an additional space just 200 metres from the Bankrashal: Pandora Hall 7.

The gym at Pandora Hall 7 is available from 16:00 to 17:00. The group will most likely be led by Trainer Milou.

Although the space is smaller than the Bankrashal, it provides a separate and quieter environment where beginning skaters can learn and build their confidence without having to share the field with more experienced recreational skaters.

Which class should your child join?

We recommend the following:

🛼 Total beginners
If your child has been skating for less than about 2 months, we recommend starting at Pandora Hall 7. This gives them the opportunity to develop the basic skills, confidence and control they need before moving to the larger recreational group.

🛼 Confident recreational skaters
If your child already has enough skating experience, confidence, speed and courage, they can join the recreational class at the Bankrashal.

Not sure which group is right?

Your child can also try both!

For example, they can start with one hour at Pandora Hall 7 with the beginners and then join the recreational group at the Bankrashal. This is a great way to see which setting feels most comfortable and appropriate for their current level.

Ultimately, the choice is yours. We trust that you know your child and can make the right decision for them. If you are unsure, please don’t hesitate to ask one of our trainers for advice. We are always happy to help!

And for the parents…

If your child is skating at Pandora Hall 7, you don’t have to miss out on the usual Friday atmosphere at the Bankrashal.

Parents can of course still enjoy a free cup of tea or coffee in the Bankrashal canteen while the class is taking place.

We are excited about this new setup and hope it will help all our skaters — from those taking their very first steps on skates to our more experienced recreational skaters — enjoy their Friday sessions even more!

See you on Friday!
